Travelling north or south on the M6 you will need Junction 38, on to the B6260 which goes through Orton and heads towards Appleby.  Look for the turning to Kings Meaburn, turn left, you will see the sign for Trainlands on that junction, follow the road down to the next junction and turn left, we are ¾ of a mile down the road on the right.

If you are travelling on the A66 north from Scotch Corner to the Appleby slip road, into Appleby, over the Bridge into the town centre, follow the road up around the Castle, this is the B6260, through the villages of Burrells and Hoff to the turning for Kings Meaburn and then follow the instructions above.
