This double bedroom is in the older part of the house and was converted at the end of the 1950s to allow for the bathroom, before that it was a long walk down the garden to the double seat toilet and bathing would have been in a tin bath infront of the kitchen fire.  The bedroom has its own small corridor.  The view from the window is from the front of the house across the fields and the Pennines in the distance on a clear day.  The window faces east.
